Enhancing Your Connection

Dog Training in Today’s World

Currently, dog training is an unregulated industry. There are no mandatory requirements for education, certification, or the maintenance of professional standards. With CCC, you’ll find training grounded in science; trainers who keep abreast of, and implement, the latest scientific information, ensuring you and your dog receive solid, lasting, positively reinforced behavioral instruction. So, whether you are here because you have a dog with behavioral problems or simply want to help your dog be its best in the home or at the park, you’ve come to the right place.

The Connection Between Science & Dog Training

Understanding the human mind and how we learn and interpret information has allowed further understanding of the canine mind and how to positively influence it through science-based training and behavior modification. This methodology is a safe and effective means of creating positive change.

Leading organizations within the canine world* have taken strong stands for this kind of scientifically-sound, positive, reward-based training, that admonishes the use of pain, force and intimidation. These aversive forms of “training” are unnecessary, counter-productive and potentially harmful.

What You Can Expect

When you come to CCC, you and your dog will receive personalized training that fits the two of you and your household environment. No two trainings are alike, just as no two dogs or their environments are the same. You’ll start with a free, 15-minute phone consultation outlining the behavior concerns and goals you have for the training of your dog. With live training online, we will also make certain these behaviors are amenable to training remotely and discuss the logistics and equipment necessary to successfully perform online training sessions. If additional information or observation of your dog is necessary before starting training sessions, an in-person or a remote consultation will be scheduled during which we can observe your dog and assess its behavior and environment. This can take up to two hours. Then, in less than a week, you will receive a complete report outlining an individually tailored behavior plan through which your goals may be reached.

One-on-One

One-on-one sessions, either in-person or by live remote, take place in your environment with you and your dog and are all part of CCC training. We’ll help you understand the language of your best friend, giving you a gentle, kind and systematic approach for successful change.

The goal is to create an environment absent of stress, chaos, and disruption. You and your dog deserve a home full of joy, love and laughter. And though behavior modification can take some time, you will receive immediate tips to help begin managing the environment and gain instant relief while working on your long-term behavioral goals.

With CCC, these goals are reached by focusing on specific behaviors — from basic problems in dog manners, to more serious behavior disorders such as:

  • isolation distress
  • fearful reactivity
  • resource guarding
  • leash reactivity
  • territorial reactivity
  • aggression and
  • many more.

It’s time to bring peace and serenity to your home by controlling the turmoil and strain you and your dog have been facing. Contact CCC today to discuss how we can help you and your best friend establish the connection you truly want.
